I grew up at the Asher Walton Estate during 1982-1983—a place where the boundaries between the seen and unseen worlds felt thin. These years shaped everything that Elite K9 Care would become. The spiritual experiences I witnessed there taught me to recognize the divine in all living things, especially in the animals who share our world.
The Paranormal Encounters team documented what happens at the estate, and I can tell you with absolute certainty: these guys ain't lying. The paranormal phenomena are real. The spiritual energy is real. And that experience—growing up in a place where the veil between worlds was so thin—fundamentally shaped my understanding of the spiritual nature of all living beings.
But there's something more. Living at the Asher Walton Estate gave me a spiritual gift that has shaped my entire life's work: the ability to feel evil. To sense the presence of darkness, negativity, and spiritual corruption. This sensitivity is not something I sought—it was forged in that place, in those formative years. It's a gift and a responsibility.
This ability to discern spiritual darkness is precisely why I can recognize and honor the divine light in dogs. Every dog we work with has experienced some form of darkness—trauma, abuse, abandonment, fear. But they possess an extraordinary capacity to overcome it, to forgive, and to radiate unconditional love despite what they've endured. That's the true meaning of angels. This foundation is why I believe dogs are angels sent to earth by God. When you grow up in a place where you've witnessed the spiritual reality beyond the material world, and when you've developed the sensitivity to feel both darkness and light, you learn to see the divine spark in every creature and to help heal those who have been wounded by evil.
The spiritual sensitivity I developed at the Asher Walton Estate wasn't the end of my journey—it was the beginning. Throughout my entire life, I've been positioned to witness and respond to trauma in every form. Rollover accidents. People I've towed away who didn't make it. Animals suffering throughout my life. Each experience seemed separate at the time, but I believe now they were all connected threads of a single spiritual calling.
Every traumatic experience I've witnessed—whether human or animal—has deepened my spiritual understanding. I've sat with death. I've witnessed the moment hope leaves someone's eyes. I've felt the spiritual weight of loss and suffering. And through it all, I've developed an intuitive understanding of trauma that cannot be taught in any classroom or training program.
This is why I can help dogs heal from their own trauma. Because I understand trauma. I've lived with it. I've witnessed it. I've felt its spiritual impact. My gift isn't just the ability to sense evil—it's the ability to recognize the path from darkness to light, because I've walked it myself. Every dog we work with is receiving care from someone who understands at the deepest spiritual level what they've endured.
When I was young, I ran away. I ended up in Los Angeles, California, where I had to build an interesting life just to eat, just to survive. Those years shaped me in ways I couldn't have imagined. But during all of that—through every job, every challenge, every moment of survival—one thing became clear: animals recognized something in me.
Throughout my life, I've held many jobs training dogs. Different organizations, different dogs, different circumstances. But regardless of the job or the dog, they all showed me the same thing: an unmistakable spiritual connection. When they see me, their excitement level jumps through the house. When they see me walking away, they become visibly sad. This isn't learned behavior—this is spiritual recognition.
And now, something remarkable is happening. The same spiritual connection that forms with dogs is now manifesting with ducks and other animals. They recognize the same divine light. They respond with the same joy, the same sadness at departure. This gift transcends species—it's a spiritual attunement that animals of all kinds can sense and respond to. I believe this is the mark of someone who has been called to serve the animal kingdom in a sacred way.
